چکیده
The use of high-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) in patients with a drug-resistant depressive episode is associated high variability its effect, which determines the relevance search for predictive biomarkers effect. Objective: to neuroimaging clinical effectiveness navigational rTMS episode. Patients and methods. study included 30 drug resistant who underwent 20 sessions highfrequency dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) left hemisphere. We performed an analysis correlations between functional connectivity gray matter volume (GMV) given areas (before rTMS) degree reduction Beck score assessment depression presence clinically significant response therapy. Results discussion. A relationship was shown effect low values subgenual cingulated DLPFC right found decrease severity symptoms GMV insula, inferior frontal gyrus, temporal pole, superior median cingulate hemisphere, as well therapy pole gyrus on left. Conclusion. obtained results may become prerequisite development individual

Effects of High-Frequency Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation on Motor Functions in Patients with Subcortical Stroke
Background: Motor function impairment occurs in approximately two-thirds of patients with subcortical stroke. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is a noninvasive technique for modulating cortical excitability. Objectives: The present study was designed for assessing the efficacy of high-frequency rTMS (5 Hz) on ipsilesional primary motor cortex in patients with subcortical stro...

متن کاملTitle: Biomarkers of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for Treatment Resistant Adolescent Depression
Background: Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is an emerging intervention for treatment resistant major depressive disorder (MDD) in adolescents. Though rTMS is an effective technique, positive responses are not universal. As MDD is associated with alterations in brain chemistry, we investigated metabolite concentrations as a biomarker for predicting treatment response. We hyp...

Introduction & Objective: Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) is an electro physiologic brain stimulation and integration technique that can change the cortical excitability of the target area in the brain and modulate the nervous and muscular ductility. Addiction is associated with dysfunction of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) and altered cerebral oscillations. Acco...
